Live Betting / In Play betting at Betgoodwin

There are a wide variety of bettors who bet in-play. There are many who prefer live betting to placing traditional, pre-match wagers. There are also those who like to combine the two to try and find better value or to cover their bets.

Betgoodwin offer an extensive in-play facility. We’ll take a closer look at what’s available in a moment. First, let’s examine some of the pros and cons to live betting.

In Play Betting Pros and Cons

How to bet In Play at Betgoodwin

Betgoodwin offer a comprehensive live betting facility. Customers can bet in-play on a number of sports, including football, tennis, golf, cricket, basketball, American Football, ice hockey, baseball, table tennis and futsal.

For our research into the in-play facility at Betgoodwin, we examined the Premier League match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester City. Before the game, there were 158 betting markets available. We focused on the Match Result market. Wolves were priced at 15/2 to win, City were 1/3 and the draw was 5/1. This gives a pre-match margin of 3.45%.

In-play, there were 99 markets available. Wolves were priced at 6/1 to win the game, City were priced at 2/5 and the draw had odds of 4/1. This gives an in-play margin of 5.71%.

Live streaming at Betgoodwin

At Betgoodwin you can live stream:

  • UK Horse Racing

You don’t need to place a bet on the event to watch it, nor do you even need to have a funded account. We have to point out, the Betgoodwin live streaming service is one of the best we’ve come across. As well as the stream itself, customers have access to Video Analysis of previous races, along with a Video Predictor of the race and a variety of statistics that could help you with your horse racing betting.

Races available for streaming will have the yellow Watch icon. Click on this to open up your streaming options.

In Play betting at Betgoodwin Conclusion

Betgoodwin offer a comprehensive in-play betting facility. There’s a good choice of sports, with plenty of markets available in the most popular of these. Live streaming is only available on horse racing, but a more extensive and enjoyable all-round live stream service you’re unlikely to come across.

Betgoodwin Mobile App review

The Betgoodwin app is available on both iOS and Android devices. For clarity, we used an Android device for our testing and research.

The app has a number of negative reviews, but we’re finding it difficult to understand why. The app works brilliantly well, we actually prefer using the app to the desktop site. There’s no lag, betting in-play has very little delay and live streaming is clear and accessible.

Table of data RE iOS / Android

Pros & Cons of the App vs the Desktop site

While it’s certainly only a preference, we do much prefer using the app than the desktop site. Everything is laid out more simply in the app, leading to easier navigation throughout the site. Placing bets is a breeze and making deposits is also a simple process. That’s not to say the desktop site is particularly bad, it’s just for us the app is much easier to use.

Betgoodwin Research Results

Conclusion & Rating

If we were focusing solely on horse racing, we’d have no problem giving Betgoodwin 5/5. There are odds on races taking place across the globe, with live streaming also available on desktop and via the app. Existing customer offers are almost all on horse racing. The streaming service featuring Video Analysis, Video Predictor and a variety of statistics is fantastic. If you’re a horse racing bettor happy to deposit and withdraw using a Debit card only, we’d have no hesitation in recommending Betgoodwin as your next betting site.

However, as a general sports betting site, there are a few negatives. Only Debit cards can be used as a payment method, which is a drawback if you’re more comfortable using an online wallet for that extra layer of security. As we mentioned, existing customer promotions are focused on horse racing. There are a couple available on other sports, but the most attractive offers are saved for the races. The desktop site can sometimes be a little difficult to navigate through, though the app is much better in this regard.

In-play betting is available, and there’s plenty of choice too. Customer service is excellent, we received an email response within 30 minutes of sending our enquiry. Live Chat puts you straight through to a human, so no navigating through annoying bot options before you get to speak to someone. All three of our Live Chat tests were dealt with in a friendly manner, with all three agents knowledgeable and dealt with our queries quickly.

We are really impressed with Betgoodwin. The major downsides are lack of payment options and lack of existing customer promotions for non-horse racing bettors. However, they do everything else so very well.
