For our research into how BetUK do things with their live betting facility, we examined the UEFA Nations League game between England and Greece. Pre-match, there were 336 separate betting odds available on this fixture. We focused on the Full Time market. England were priced at 1.25 to win, Greece were 11.0 and the draw was 5.2. This gives a pre-match margin of 8.32%.
During the game, there were 134 in-play markets available. Some of the odds had also changed. England to win had odds of 1.27, Greece were priced at 9.5 and the draw was 5.2. This gives an in-play margin of 8.50%.
BetUK offer live streaming on selected horse racing and football. There isn’t a schedule as such, the live streaming service seems to appear at random times. If you’re looking for a horse racing stream, hit the Full Racecard tab of the race you’re interested in. If a stream is available, the relevant icon will be displayed. Similarly with football, head over to the Football menu and click on Stream Only. Any streams that are available will be displayed here.
There is a good range of in-play betting options available at BetUK. The betting margins aren’t particularly attractive, though, certainly on the sports and fixtures we tested, with the average being around 8%. Live streaming is also a bit hit and miss, with selected horse racing streams available from time to time.

We have to say, the app works really well. It’s visually appealing, and while the app can sometimes appear to be a little cramped, the change in colours actually help distinguish between sports and markets.
Loading times are a little on the slow side, but nothing that really hampered our overall betting experience. All sections of your account are easily accessible, including the Live Bets menu.

BetUK is a strange one. There aren’t many promotions, betting margins aren’t particularly great, especially in-play margins and customer service is distinctly lacking. But we actually really enjoyed our betting experience here. Yes, there’s aspects that could be massively improved but this is an operator that’s ever evolving.
While there’s very few promotions, the offers that are available are attractive. They’ve been improved upon in recent months too, another example of a betting site looking to improve their offering.
There’s a good range of sports available to bet on, both pre-match and in-play. Live streaming is an option, although it could be made much clearer what fixtures and events have streams attached.
We’ve used better mobile apps, but the BetUK offering does the job. We do much prefer the desktop site though.
