At the time of writing FanTeam do not currently have a welcome offer.
FanTeam was launched in 2013. FanTeam is primarily a fantasy sports betting site, where members can pay to play in fantasy sports leagues and tournaments. While this is their main focus, they also offer a standard sportsbook which is similar to what you would expect from the usual online bookmakers.
Registering at FanTeam is straightforward. Simply follow our step by step guide below to create your account:
Now that your account registration is done, you may fund your account so that you can place your first bet. Depositing at FanTeam is easy. Simply follow the steps below:
Now that you have funded your account, you are ready to place your first bet. This is an easy process at FanTeam; just follow the instructions below. In this example, we are going to bet on England to beat Greece in the UEFA Nations League:
If you are lucky enough that your bet wins, you can withdraw your winnings from your FanTeam account. Follow these steps to do so:
Note that the fees shown in the table below are only applicable once a customer has already made two withdrawals that month. Each customer is entitled to two free withdrawals per month, with the fees below being applied for the third and subsequent withdrawals.
*FanTeam do not have any specific maximum withdrawal amount per payment method. Instead, they allow customers to withdraw up to £50,000 in total over one day via however many payment methods they like; with the limit then being £200,000 over 7 days and £500,000 total over 30 days.
One of the most important things to do when gambling, is to do so safely. Online betting sites have a variety of tools available to support their customers to gamble responsibly and avoid letting an enjoyable pastime turn into a problematic addiction. At FanTeam, these tools can be found in the settings section of the account menu.
At FanTeam, customers can set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits and betting limits in the settings area of the customer account menu. It is also possible to set daily, weekly or monthly loss limits, to help avoid the temptation to chase losses and break the betting cycle when things are not going well.
Scrolling further down the settings section, you can find the Take a Break menu. Here, you can opt to restrict your access to FanTeam for a period of 24 hours, 7 days, 4 weeks or 6 weeks.
If you feel that gambling is becoming more of a problem for you and want to restrict your access to betting more permanently, then you can opt for self-exclusion, which prevents you from accessing FanTeam services for a period of 6 months, 12 months, 5 years or indefinitely. You can choose to exclude yourself from selected FanTeam services, or all of them.
We strongly recommend that you utilise these features to protect your safety and allow you to continue to enjoy gambling responsibly.

There are pros and cons attached to live betting. In the table below, we summarise some of the positive and negative aspects of in play betting in general.
FanTeam do not currently offer their customers In Play markets.
There is no live streaming available at FanTeam. They do, however, have a ‘Live Results’ section of their website, which allows users to track the score and match highlights, linked to their fantasy team betting offering. This does at least allow bettors to track the action as it happens, despite not being able to place bets live.
As previously mentioned, FanTeam do not currently have a live betting offering for their customers. They do have a ‘Live Results’ section, but this is more geared towards users of their fantasy team leagues.
The FanTeam app is functional to use. The sportsbook menu is not straightforward to navigate, but once you have found the event you want to bet on, it is easy to place a wager.
Straightforward actions such as making a deposit are readily available, but information such as customer promotions is either missing or nigh on impossible to find. The iPhone version of the app also gives users the option to use Face ID rather than having to enter your login credentials each time you open the app.
Overall, a basic app betting experience.
We found that the FanTeam app mirrored the desktop experience, although this is not necessarily a good thing. Both share a distinct lack of different sports to bet on, organised in a way that is not intuitive for bettors to navigate. One plus point of the app over the desktop site is that on iOS, you can set up Face ID to skip the login process.
There is not currently a sportsbook welcome offer available at FanTeam.
FanTeam do not currently have any promotions for existing sportsbook customers.
FanTeam do not currently have any promotions for existing sportsbook customers.
In conclusion, FanTeam’s sportsbook offering does not set the world alight. With limited sports available to begin with and a complete lack of In Play betting, there is little to offer the discerning sports bettor.
Furthermore, there are not currently any promotions at FanTeam for existing sportsbook customers, let alone a sportsbook welcome bonus. The only promotions available here are for their Fantasy offering, which admittedly is their USP, but not something of interest to those looking to place a traditional bet.
Having said that, FanTeam’s Customer Service Team is very good, offering a near-immediate response on their Live Chat service, providing clear and comprehensive answers to any queries, all within a friendly and welcoming chat atmosphere.
There are also a good range of payment options available at FanTeam, although customers are limited to two ‘free’ withdrawals per month – any more than this will be charged a not-insignificant fee. PaySafeCard deposits are also subject to a whopping 10% fee.
All in all, while there are some positives, there are much better options than FanTeam out there for bettors to enjoy, when it comes to online sports betting. Therefore, we award this provider a 2/5 rating.
