How to place a bet at Betfred

To place a bet at Betfred is a very simple process. Just follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the relevant sport that you want to bet on from the list on the column on the right of the screen. If it is currently one of the most popular things to bet on it will also be in the header.
2. Now you will see all of the “featured” events coming up and you will also have the option to show a list of everything taking place right now and is “in-play”, as well as listing by chronological start time or by competition.

How to set safer gambling features at Betfred

While Betfred have a good number of live betting markets available across a wide range of different sports, the quality of the odds available in-play were very poor. There was a wider-than average selection of events with live streaming available, but we were disappointed by the fact that users must have a positive account balance in order to watch the live streams (or have placed a bet within the past 24 hours). However, only a penny is required and the minimum deposit value at Betfred is £5, which is less than most other betting sites.

For those that do not have a funded account and do not wish to deposit, there are good quality live streamed animated graphics available. This enables customers to follow events closely in the absence of a live stream. There is also live radio commentary for some horse races, so customers can listen along as they place their horse racing bets.

Some in-play events allow users to toggle between having live graphics and match stats displayed above the live markets, to help bettors make an informed decision on their in-play bets. In addition, there is a radio commentary available for some events to enable fans to follow the action.

The Betfred app is considerably easier to use than their desktop site, mainly due to its intuitive layout and quick-to-load screens.
