Luke Littler, Jonny Clayton, Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price vie for the Premier League title at The O2 Arena on Thursday, May 28

The 2026 Premier League Darts season reaches its conclusion on Thursday night with four of the biggest names in the sport heading into Finals Night at the The O2 Arena in London.

After 16 weeks of league action around the UK and Europe, the Premier League trophy will be disputed between two Englishmen and two Welshmen in front of a packed crowd in the capital, with the semi-finals and final taking place on the same evening.

The English duo of Luke Littler and Luke Humphries have featured in the finals of the last two editions, with Littler winning in 2024, before Humphries exacted revenge on the youngster last year. In the Welsh corner are close friends Gerwyn Price, a finalist in 2023, and Jonny Clayton, the winner in 2021.

A third consecutive Littler-Humphries Premier League final meeting is on the cards. Current world number one Littler takes on Price in the opening semi, while number two Humphries faces Clayton in the other.

The winners of those two matches will then meet in the Premier League Darts final at The O2 on the same night, May 28.

Luke Littler vs Gerwyn Price

All eyes will once again be on Littler as the 19-year-old looks to continue his extraordinary rise in the sport. The reigning world champion has been the standout performer in this season’s Premier League and is naturally the favourite to win it, after finishing top of the league table with 43 points, nine ahead of Clayton in second.

However, Gerwyn Price can never be ruled out. Despite a rocky few years, where the Iceman has failed to win a televised PDC event since 2021, the former world champion has picked up form in 2026 with semi-final appearances in the World Masters and the UK Open.

Littler’s heavy scoring and rapid-fire finishing make him difficult to stop when in rhythm, but Price’s ability to pressure opponents could make this a closer game than many might think.

Jonny Clayton vs Luke Humphries

Humphries heads into Finals Night looking to add another major televised title to his growing collection. The world number two has enjoyed another remarkably consistent season and has regularly delivered in deciding-leg situations throughout the Premier League campaign.

Clayton, meanwhile, returns to Finals Night as one of the form players in the field after producing several impressive displays during the closing weeks of the regular season.

While Humphries will start as favourite on paper, Clayton has shown exemplary consistency and temperament this campaign, with his second-place finish in the regular season being proof of that.

While a Humphries-Littler final is the matchup many supporters are hoping to see due to the last two finals between the pair, an all-Welsh showdown cannot be ruled out either.

Who will win Premier League Darts Finals night?

Littler and Humphries have dominated much of the conversation around darts over the last few years and both players head into Finals Night among the bookmakers’ favourites.

Littler’s relentless scoring power arguably gives him the highest ceiling of anyone left in the tournament, and has managed the highest average in the Premier League in more weeks (5) than any other player. Humphries, however, isn’t far off, and heads into the Final Four with the highest three-dart average in this year’s edition (101.33).

And while much of the talk is dominated by the English pair, Price and Clayton won’t mind the spotlight being away from them heading into the night, knowing that their superior experience could play a telling role when the pressure moments kick in.

Whoever the eventual winner, Finals Night promises to deliver an evening of spectacle and drama on what will be a rollercoaster of emotions to conclude the 2026 campaign.
