Christos Tzolis has emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United and Aston Villa.

The Club Brugge star has attracted interest from Premier League clubs after a sublime campaign in which he amassed 51 goal contributions

Having stood out with his displays for Club Brugge last season, Christos Tzolis has attracted interest from several European powerhouses including Premier League sides Manchester United and Aston Villa.

Both United and Villa have managed to secure a spot in next season’s Champions League, making them attractive destinations for the Greek international, who has made clear that he won’t part ways with the Belgian club for just any project.

Although United have endured a difficult period domestically, their global stature continues to carry significant weight with players across Europe.

Tzolis has voluntarily identified Old Trafford as one of the destinations capable of convincing him to leave Belgium, a detail that will not have gone unnoticed by the club’s recruitment team.

“United could convince me,” Tzolis told Het Nieuwsblad. “Such a massive club with so much history. It would be hard to say no to that.

“It would have to be a Champions League team from England, Germany, Spain, or Italy. Only PSG is a better option.”

In as many as 52 appearances across all competitions last term, Tzolis bagged 22 goals and 29 assists, including eight goal contributions in Europe.

According to Gazet van Antwerpen, Manchester United have already made an approach to sign the Greek winger, while Aston Villa and Juventus have also shown interest per various reports.

Having secured the level of European football Tzolis desires, Unai Emery’s side emerge as serious contenders. Villa’s recent progress under the Spaniard and their growing presence on the European stage align closely with the ambitions the winger has outlined publicly.

Crystal Palace ruled out as an option

One club that seemingly no longer features in Tzolis’s plans is Crystal Palace. When asked about reported interest from the south London side, the Greek international delivered a firm response.

“The Crystal Palace train has already left the station for me,” he noted.

The remark effectively closes the door on a move to Selhurst Park and suggests the winger believes other opportunities now offer a better fit for the next stage of his career. That is despite Oliver Glasner’s side winning the Conference League, that propels them into next season’s Europa League.

Tzolis stressed that he currently has “everything I need to be happy here” at Club Brugge, underlining that there is no urgency to leave. That stance strengthens his negotiating position and allows him to assess any offers carefully rather than rushing into a transfer.
