The Champions League final is already causing a stir in the betting markets, and there is a huge amount of interest building ahead of kick-off. Looking at the latest figures from the bookie bet365, one thing stands out straight away. Punters are clearly siding with PSG.

The French side have taken 83% of bets in the market to lift the trophy, while Arsenal are sitting on just 17%. That is a big gap for a final of this size, especially when both teams have enough quality to make it a very tight night.

PSG are priced at 13/10 to lift the trophy, with Arsenal at 11/5. The odds still leave room for a proper contest, but the betting activity tells us where most of the early confidence is going.

PSG are getting most of the early support

The money is clearly pouring in on PSG. That does not mean the final is already decided, but it does show how the market feels before the match.

Arsenal17%11/5

From our side, the feeling is that punters are buying into PSG’s firepower more than anything else. They look like the team with more ways to hurt Arsenal, especially if the game opens up.

Still, finals do not always follow the obvious script. One early goal, one red card, one mistake or one big save can change everything very quickly.

Dembélé is the name punters like for a goal

The anytime scorer market is also leaning heavily towards PSG. Ousmane Dembélé has attracted 55% of bets to score at any time, making him the standout pick with bet365. He is priced at 13/8.

Behind him comes Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who has taken 20% of bets at 21/10. Viktor Gyökeres, Bukayo Saka and Désiré Doué are also getting some attention, but nobody is close to Dembélé at the moment.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia20%21/10
Viktor Gyökeres9%2/1
Bukayo Saka7%13/5
Désiré Doué3%9/4

It is easy to see why Dembélé is popular. He can beat a defender, create something from nothing and change the mood of a match in one move. But the most backed player is not always the smartest bet. In a final, the way the game starts can completely change which players get chances.

The booking market is much tighter

The cards market is a lot more open, which makes sense for a game like this. Champions League finals can be tense, physical and full of little tactical fouls.

Marquinhos leads the way to be booked, with 11% of bets at 4/1. Gabriel Magalhães is close behind with 10% at 10/3, while Declan Rice, Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes are also among the players being backed.

Gabriel Magalhães10%10/3
Declan Rice9%12/5
Achraf Hakimi8%7/4
Nuno Mendes8%5/2

This is one of those markets where the flow of the match matters more than anything. A defender caught one-on-one too often or a midfielder forced to stop counters can suddenly become a strong booking candidate.

The market leans one way, but the final is still wide open

For now, bet365’s numbers tell a pretty clear story. PSG are getting most of the backing, Dembélé is the name punters like for a goal, and the cards market is already picking up interest.

But this is still a Champions League final. Arsenal have enough quality to make PSG uncomfortable, and these games are often decided by details rather than trends.

The market may be leaning towards PSG, but the pitch will have the final say.
