Scotland vs Brazil – predictions and odds – 2026 World Cup (24/06/2026)

Scotland and Brazil face off in sunny Miami in a match corresponding to the third round of fixtures in Group C. This will be a spectacular duel in both substance and style. The Scots and Brazilians are always two of the great entertainers of any self-respecting World Cup, thanks to the colour and passion of their picturesque fans. But when you couple that with the urgency of qualification, the match has all the makings of being a memorable one.
The Scots know exactly what they need to do: they must take points from the five-time champions. After beating Haiti (1-0) and falling to Morocco (1-0), the Tartan Army have 3 points and need at least one more to seal qualification for the round of 32. The Brazilians, for their part, have already qualified after drawing with Morocco in their opener (1-1) and easily beating Haiti in the second matchday (3-0).
Carlo Ancelotti’s men face the handicap of being without the injured Raphinha and the uneasy knowledge that if they do not beat the Scots, Morocco will almost certainly finish as group leaders. Scotland, meanwhile, play under the pressure of a terrifying statistic: they have NEVER progressed past the first round in their 8 World Cup appearances, nor in the 4 editions of the European Championship they have taken part in. They are now looking to break down that door, pinning their hopes on their two main assets: Scott McTominay and John McGinn.
