In this review, we analyse Betmaster from our own experience, visiting their website, testing its sections and seeing how the sports betting part works.

When we saw that there were 18 sports, we initially thought that this was a bit low. We are used to bookmakers with more extensive catalogues, so at first we felt that the offering might be a little lacking. However, when we started to look at the selection in more detail, our impression changed considerably. Although the offering is not huge, the variety is well thought out. We were surprised to see that they also have options such as eFootball and other less common markets such as snooker, darts, and even cricket and Gaelic football. We liked that because, even though we don’t bet on those sports every day, it’s nice to have alternatives in case one day you feel like trying something different or following a specific event.
BetMaster Football
We analysed the football section the most because that’s where we always bet. And here we have to say that our impression was quite good. They cover the major European leagues such as the Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga and Serie A, as well as major competitions such as the Champions League.
In terms of markets, we found it to be quite comprehensive. We found the typical 1X2 bets, which are the ones we use most when we want something simple, but also options such as both teams to score, over/under goals and handicaps. We tend to use the over/under 2.5 goals and BTTS markets a lot, and we found them to be quite good. We were also struck by the first goalscorer market, which offers good odds when you bet on the best strikers.
Another thing we liked was the live betting section. We tried it during a match and the odds were updated quickly. We like to bet as the match progresses, and here we saw that the bookmaker works well.
We believe that the football section is one of the strong points, with good coverage, plenty of markets and options for both simple bets and more risky ones.
BetMaster Horse Racing
The horse racing section surprised us in a good way. It’s not a market we usually bet on, but we do like it, especially for big events, so we decided to take a look.
They cover both daily races and major events such as Cheltenham, Grand National and Royal Ascot. It is not limited to the most well-known races; you can also bet on practically any day. In addition, coverage is not limited to the United Kingdom and Ireland; there are also international events.
In terms of bet types, we found there to be quite a lot of variety. We tried the classic win bets, which are the easiest and the ones we usually use when betting on these races. We were also struck by the each-way bet, which splits the bet between the winner and the place, and we think it’s a good option if you don’t want to risk so much. We saw options such as forecast and tricast, which are riskier but also offer much higher prizes. There are alternatives for both beginners and more experienced punters. We placed a live bet; we like to see how the odds change as the race progresses and be able to react in real time.
We found it easy to navigate the races: you enter the section, choose the meeting, view the odds and select the market. It works well on mobile, which we appreciate because we often watch the races on our phones.
BetMaster Tennis Betting
Tennis is not the sport we bet on the most, but it is one we follow quite closely during the Grand Slams and some important tournaments on the circuit. When we checked it out, we saw that the coverage is quite comprehensive.
They include ATP and WTA tournaments, as well as the four Grand Slams during the season. We also saw that they cover smaller tournaments such as ATP 250 or 500, which is useful if you want to find better odds or follow less high-profile players.
In terms of markets, we thought the offering was good. There are the classic bets on the winner of the match (money line), which is what we use most when we see a clear favourite, but we also found markets such as exact set winner, game handicaps and total game over/under. Personally, we tend to focus a lot on the over/under because in tennis the pace of the match and the surface have a huge influence, and here we saw that those options are available.
Another thing we liked was live betting. We tried it during a match and thought it was pretty cool: the odds change with each game, even with each important break point.
It works well on mobile, which is important because tennis matches are played at all hours and we often follow them on our phones.
BetMaster Basketball bets
We found the basketball section to be quite good and more comprehensive than we expected. It’s a sport we follow quite a bit, especially the NBA and some important European matches.
They cover major competitions, the NBA, Euroleague, NCAA, and international tournaments such as the World Cup and Olympic Games.
We find the basic markets we always use, match winner, point handicap and total points. We tend to bet a lot on the handicap because in basketball the favourites often win, but they don’t always cover the line. We also like to play with the totals, especially when we analyse game rhythms or weak defences. These options are well thought out and offer competitive odds.
We tried live betting during a match and the odds were updated fairly smoothly, allowing us to react to streaks, injuries or changes in dynamics. They also include additional markets such as quarter bets and some more specific options.
BetMaster other sports
In sports such as ice hockey, rugby, and baseball, they include the most important international competitions. It’s not just football, but also the major leagues and tournaments, with classic markets such as winner, handicap, totals, and live options. It’s clear that these are important sports within the company.
In others such as handball, volleyball, boxing, MMA, snooker or darts, the coverage is good. It is not as extensive as in football or the NBA, but they have what you need to bet. They have good markets and options for pre-event and live betting.
Something we really liked is that, although we didn’t see any live streaming matches, we were able to follow the events thanks to the animated screens. They update the score and show the progress of the match or competition in real time. It’s not the same as watching the video, but it’s quite useful for following a bet.
As for the more unusual sports, such as eFootball, Gaelic football and Gaelic hurling, we thought it was a strong point that they included them. eFootball, for example, is very live-oriented, with odds that change constantly.
One thing that disappointed us was that we didn’t see golf, and for us that’s important because it’s a sport we love and often bet on. Compared to other bookmakers that include it with many markets (winner, top positions, handicaps, etc.), we missed it here.
Bonuses and Promotions at BetMaster
Welcome bonus
Getting the welcome bonus was easy. The first thing we did was register and click on Participate to sign up for the sports offer. Then we made our first deposit of £20, and we automatically received the 100% bonus up to £100. Everything was quick, and we liked that they explained the steps to follow before starting to bet.
What caught our attention the most were the wagering requirements: we had to wager the bonus 10 times within 30 days on sports bets with minimum odds of 1.7. At first it seemed a bit demanding, but as we used it, we realised that it’s quite simple if you focus on the sports you already know. Something that initially seemed like a big disadvantage to us was that we thought there were no sports-focused promotions, and since we mainly use the sports section, that left us a little disappointed. There is no loyalty programme, which did not surprise us too much after seeing that their range of promotions is quite limited.
We would have liked to find something similar to what other bookmakers offer, where you can earn rewards, extra bonuses or exclusive benefits by accumulating points or completing bets. Our experience with the app was quite good. It downloaded very quickly, without any problems, and as soon as we opened it, we saw that it had all the features we expected from the website.

Usability, design and user experience
Our overall impression is quite good. Everything is easy to find, the menus are clear, the sections are well organised, and you don’t have to search around to find what you’re looking for. Both on the website and in the app, we found navigation to be intuitive and straightforward.
The page loads quickly, and the registration and deposit process is very easy, with the steps clearly explained. There are no complications, everything follows an order that makes it fluid.
They offer the option of light mode and dark mode, which greatly improves visual comfort depending on the time of day or individual preferences. The overall design is clean, with colours that are neither overwhelming nor overloaded. The casino and betting sections are clearly differentiated.

We analysed the safe gambling tools it offers, because we believe it is important for a bookmaker to have clear control options. We found a fairly comprehensive section focused on promoting responsible gambling.
