But what really caught our attention were sports such as arm wrestling, alpine skiing, biathlon, bandy, floorball, lacrosse and even chess, which we had never considered betting on before.
In our case, trying something like arm wrestling was interesting because it’s not a sport we’re used to following, but that’s precisely what makes the offer entertaining. We also thought alpine skiing was cool, and we were surprised to see chess as an available market, something that not all bookmakers have.
In addition, they have a very strong eSports section, with Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 and League of Legends. They also have sections on entertainment and current affairs, such as the Oscars and even politics.
BetMorph Football
In football, they cover the classic and well-known leagues such as the Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga and Serie A, as well as slightly more unusual competitions that we don’t usually see at other bookmakers, such as Gaelic football and even less high-profile leagues in South America and Eastern Europe. Although not everything interests us all the time, you can choose from practically any match possible.
The markets were quite comprehensive, with classic bets such as 1X2, over/under 2.5 goals, handicaps and BTTS, which we use a lot, but also options such as first goalscorer or scoring in a specific half. We saw markets that we don’t usually use, such as exact score or half-time/full-time combinations, and it made us want to try them out sometime.
Something we loved were the animated screens. There was no live streaming, but the screens show you the match with updates every second: possession, corners, cards, goals… super useful for following how the bet is going without having to watch the whole match. One day, we bet on over/under 2.5 goals in a Bundesliga match and, thanks to the animations, we saw the equaliser coming in real time. We had to decide quickly whether to close the bet or take a little more risk.
Live betting works very well, the odds are updated quickly and you can react as the match changes. There were no delays or errors, everything was super smooth. For example, in a LaLiga match, we bet live that both teams would score and just as the second goal was about to be scored, we were able to close the bet with a partial cashout and secure part of the winnings.

The horse racing section at Betmorph covers the main races in the United Kingdom, which are the most important for us, but they also have international races.
The betting options are quite limited; we could only bet on the winner, which was a bit disappointing for us. We are big fans of horse racing and are used to having more markets, each-way, placed, forecasts, combinations… so we were left wanting more variety.
For example, we wanted to place a low-risk bet on a race where we couldn’t see a clear favourite. Normally, we would have played each-way to cover ourselves, but this wasn’t available here, so we had to go for the winner only.

When we bet on tennis at Betmorph, we saw that not only were the four Grand Slams available, which are the most important tournaments of the year and the ones that everyone follows, but we could also bet on ATP, WTA and ITF matches.
Compared to other sections, the markets here were better, with plenty of variety, match winner, game handicap, over/under sets, options by sets. We really like betting on tennis because it depends a lot on the surface and the player’s form, and here we were able to adapt our bets quite well to each match.
Another thing we really liked was the odds, which we found to be quite competitive. In some matches, we found value that we didn’t see so clearly at other bookmakers.
We followed the matches on the animated screens, which worked very well. There was no video streaming, but the real-time scoreboard was updated quickly and it was easy to understand how the match was going. This helped us a lot when we placed live bets.
In a minor ATP tournament match, we placed a live bet after seeing that a player had started off a bit weak but was improving with his serve. Thanks to the real-time updates, we were able to jump in at a moment that we thought was interesting.

When we started betting on basketball, we realised that they cover leagues from practically every country. The offer is huge, and the ones that interest us most are the American leagues, so we were quite happy here.

When we looked at the entire list of sports, there were a few that really caught our attention. We are used to seeing football, basketball, and tennis at almost every bookmaker, but here we found much rarer options that we had not seen before.
For example, we were surprised to see arm wrestling, which is not a sport we have ever bet on, but we found it interesting because it is something very specific and different. We were also struck by chess, which we do not normally associate with traditional sports betting.

Bonuses and Promotions at BetMorph
Welcome bonus
To activate the welcome bonus, we made a first deposit of £10 using the sports cashier (this was important because not all methods qualified). After that, the bonus was credited to our account as a pending bonus. In our case, when we accumulated £10 in bets, the bonus was automatically activated and we were able to start using the £30 free bet.
The process was well explained, and we had no doubts about what to do, although we had to comply with the conditions: the free bet was £30 with minimum odds of 1.5, the amount wagered was not refunded, and the winnings generated had to be wagered once before they could be withdrawn. In the case of Betmorph, this section simply does not appear, so we were unable to identify any notable awards associated with the brand.

Usability, design and user experience
What caught our attention most when we entered Betmorph was its design. It’s super fun and original, with a king who appears in all sports and is always characterised according to the sport in question.
In terms of usability, we have to say that it is one of the most intuitive websites we have tried so far. Everything is very visual, with explanatory videos that show you how the different features work.
