Espanyol vs Athletic Club (La Liga): odds and bets 14.05.2026

The EA Sports La Liga is in its decisive phase. In fact, the RCDE Stadium is hosting a final for Espanyol in their fight to avoid relegation. Manolo González’s side, who have gone 18 games without a win, host Athletic, their last victims back in December 2025.

The Catalan side went into the Christmas break in fifth place, and now sit just two points clear of the relegation zone. A win is therefore essential to give them some breathing space and take a giant step towards survival.

Athletic, for their part, have been very inconsistent, but a win could see them fighting for European places in the final two matchdays. However, with the injuries to Nico Williams and Sancet and the poor form of Ernesto Valverde’s side, they are a suitable opponent for Espanyol to end their losing run.
