Rayo Vallecano vs AEK Athens (Conference League): odds and bets 09.04.2026

Rayo Vallecano have a date with history. In only their second ever European campaign, they have once again reached the quarter-finals. This time it is in the Conference League, and the Vallecas side are aiming to reach at least the semi-finals.

In the first leg, which they will play at home, they know they must capitalise on the Vallecas effect. On the pitch, they are capable of beating AEK Athens, and they know they need to take a lead into the Greek capital.

The Greeks, for their part, will try to slow the pace of the game and keep the tie alive heading into Athens. At home, they know their chances are boosted by the atmosphere created by their fans. But the Vallecas side are the better team and must prove it.
